Nutri-Graim 2009 commercial

The Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Beach Racer Game ads were very well executed, with bright, attention-getting colors and eye-catching motion. The purpose for the advertisement is to engage consumers to buy this product in this case Nutri-Grain, Kellogg's has really used many techniques through this clip to catch buyer's attention. Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain is a breakfast cereal aimed at the teenage market (male 12-17). This appeals to the average12 yr old, this is by Kellogg's putting a child in the ad showing the effect's, and transformation of eating Nutri-Grains.

This advertisement is very effective because Kellogg's has used the AIDA theory, by the use of the AIDA theory it engages the viewer's attention oby the use of stunning graphic detail and the speed of the commercial, being quick and dramatic making the viewer not wont to miss a thing. The use of banners is very effective and eye catching. The commercial is full of action being a male targeted commercial, this increase the viewer wanting to buy the item. Also the  large shot of of the boy eating Nutri-Grain and how the boy is scooping the food like its irresistible, this makes the viewer want to eat Nutri-Grains. The music in the background is fits the commercial very well being a fast motion commercial. The add makes you feel that if you eat Nutri-Grain cereal you will be strong and tough, full of energy.

By showing the young boy growing up getting stronger and stronger eating Nutri-Grain this appeals to the viewer making them want to be big and tough and win the race. Also by adding in the mother showing the viewers the mother encouraging her son to eat Nutri-Grains and at the end she gets the medal, by doing this the ad also appeals to mothers.
